Resilience Programme Steering Group
The Barlow has achieved a Resilience Grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF). Consequently, we are now inviting expressions of interest from current volunteers to join our Resilience Programme Steering Group.
The role will ensure that the views of the volunteers are considered during the programme and will have responsibility for communicating any agreed outputs to and from the remainder of the volunteers. The incumbent will also have a defined schedule of work which will be deliverable in line with set time-frames.
Meeting every 3 weeks between April and September, the steering group itself will be responsible for the management, guidance and coordination of work packages all designed to ensure that the future HLF bid is efficient, effective and fit-for-purpose, as well as managing the production of the stage one application. The five resilience work packages are;
• Condition Survey (heritage of the building)
• Costing plan
• Woodland study
• Business plan, options and feasibility study
• Skills examination and training
Candidates should have demonstrable past experience in one or more of these five areas and be willing to dedicate enough time to ensure that the outputs from the group are delivered professionally and on time.
Interested volunteers are requested to submit a CV plus a covering letter explaining why you are qualified for the role (no more than 1 side A4) to: John Harwood, General Manager, The Barlow, 216 Bolton Road, Edgworth, Bolton, BL7 0AP or email him at firstname.lastname@example.org
Closing date for expressions of interest is 20th April 2017. Applicants meeting the criteria will be invited for interview during week commencing 24th April 2017.
