The panto is back! Oh yes it is!
Follow the Yellow Brick Road to The Barlow, Edgworth and join us for our very unique and magical story of the ‘The Wizard of Edgworth’.
Lost in an unfamiliar land, inhabited by the Edgies, witches and flying monkeys; Dorothy and her loving dog Toto need to find their way back to Kansas. Dorothy embarks on a quest with her new friends, Scarecrow, Tinwoman, and the Cowardly Lion to see The Wizard. With lots of twists and surprises along the way, will Dorothy’s dreams come true somewhere over the rainbow? Lots of fun for children and adults too in this production that celebrates Edgworth, surrounding villages and Bolton.
The performance is by the children and teenagers of the Appleton Dickenson Acting academy based at The Barlow in Edgworth and is a specially written adaptation by Directors Anthony Appleton and Lauren Dickenson.
Last year’s pantomime by Anthony and Lauren was a great success and this promises to be even better.
